Kevin Caruso
Kevin Caruso's screenplay THE RUT was a Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist and won the 2007 Cinestory Screenwriting Competition. Previously, Kevin co-wrote the film I TRIED for CodeBlack Entertainment. The DVD went platinum, selling over 250 thousand units. His screenplay EXPOSURES OF WAR received the “rare and prestigious” perfect score and the highest monetary award ever from the New Jersey Council of the Arts. In 2015, his screenplay THE SHOOK ONES earned him another grant through the state of New Jersey. In 2010 his SOUTHLAND spec won first place in the Scriptapalooza TV Competition.
Kevin is a graduate of William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ, and the former publicist for HIGH TIMES Magazine. Currently, he is a sales manager for a German beer importer, President of the North Jersey Screenwriters Group, and a board member of the Garden State Film Festival. He was recently hired by producer Cassian Elwes to write a thriller set in China. He is also working on various TV projects. Kevin is managed by Truth Magician Entertainment and represented by lawyer Marios Rush.
Lisa Gold
Lisa Gold has written award-winning screenplays, a produced documentary and eight award-winning short films, which she also directed and/or produced. Her shorts have played in 100 film festivals. Lisa has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from UCLA.
Lisa’s feature screenplay THE POKER WARS was a Finalist in the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting and won the CineStory Screenwriting Awards. Lisa is completing the novel version of her family action/adventure feature script THE SECRET OF SHANGRI-LA, Grand Jury Prize winner for the Nashville Film Festival Screenplay Competition, Quarterfinalist in the Nicholl Fellowships and 2022 Finalist in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards. Lisa’s sci-fi feature FOREGLOW was a 2021 PAGE Awards Finalist, a Nicholl Quarterfinalist and a 2020 Semi-Finalist in the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, in both Drama and Sci-Fi categories. Her pilot BONDAGE was a Finalist in the CineStory TV/Digital competition. YONGE STREET STRIP, another pilot Lisa wrote, was a Finalist in the Script Pipeline TV Writing Competition and the Nashville Film Festival Screenplay Competition. Recently, the pilot was a Semi-Finalist in the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, in both the AMC Drama Pilot and Humanitas categories.
Lisa was a Fellow in the AFI Conservatory Directing Workshop for Women, a competitive program which gives selected women training, support and resources to make a short film. Her AFI short THE DEATH OF TOYS was an official selection of 39 festivals, winning: Best Director, Toronto International Film and Video Awards; Best Narrative Short, Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival; Best Actress (Kim Rhodes), Winter Film Awards; Groundbreaking Filmmaker, HATCH Asheville. Lisa’s latest short THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS, currently on the festival circuit, is so far an official selection of 56 festivals, winning First Prize - Kamen Award, Wheaton Film Festival; Best Student Short Film, Sedona International Film Festival; Best of Fest, Cranford Film Festival; Audience Choice, Blackbird Film Festival.
As an improvisational actress, Lisa has performed in various venues around Los Angeles; she is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory.
